Hey there folkses!
I am a person that really likes testimonials when it comes to certain things, like the newest book out or what have you, which help me to make a determination on whether I purchase that particular thing, or go to that particular restaurant or whatever.. So stick around a let me tell ya about one of my current favorite books.
I'm so glad we had this time, to-GE-therrr!!!!....... Ring a bell? Who doesn't love Carol Burnett, right? Remember that theme song that she closed each show with? If you have never seen any of her shows, look her up on You tube.... She's pure Americana at it's best.
She released a book this year entitled, "This Time Together", laughter and reflection. It's a fun, quick read that is biographical, but mostly talking about her time in show business, with just a little personal side as well.
She talks of meeting celebrities that she had admired and had been very star-struck with, from before she even got in the business. She talks a lot about the Carol Burnett show as well and her co-workers and many behind the scenes stories. I found myself laughing and smiling throughout.
